Shefali Kothari - South Asia Women in Energy (Sawie)

Shefali Kothari is a clean energy start-up strategist, providing growth services to entrepreneurs, enterprises and enablers that drive an inclusive clean economy.  Her entry into Solar Energy was through her fintech startup, My Mosambi, accelerated in the Silicon Valley ecosystem.

Since, she has developed a practice to work as the right hand of clean energy start-up founders and those that support them.  She has a proven track record in strategic planning, fundraising, business development and partnership development for organisations like TFE Energy, Village Data Analytics, CEEW, Frontier Markets and New Energy Nexus. Her work on increasing gender equality has been supported by the California Clean Energy Fund and Frontier Markets.

Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Shefali spent 10 years in client servicing, network management and business development with global ad agency network, BBDO, in Paris, London, Mumbai & Delhi.  Shefali is a nomadic professional, based in Bombay.
