Rekha Krishnan - South Asia Women in Energy (Sawie)

Rekha has been actively researching on energy and resource sustainability issues for over twenty years. Her areas of focus thus far include sustainable energy access, energy security, energy policy, sustainability indicators, decentralised renewable energy, energy and water inequities. She is now expanding my research interests to look at inclusive and sustainable growth, with a focus on energy, water and food. On that end, she founded Water Energy Food Transitions (WEFT) Research seeks to catalyse transitions on three fronts to promote resource equity, resource efficiency and resource democracy towards more inclusive and participatory resource management. The mission of WEFT is to create equity in the dual sense of justice and value.
