Anindya Upadhyay - South Asia Women in Energy (Sawie)

Anindya is an award-winning former South Asia correspondent covering clean energy for Bloomberg News and now experimenting with the development sector. Leveraging over a decade of reporting experience and knowledge of the power sector, she is currently advising The Asia Foundation to build its work and presence on clean/renewable energy in the South Asia region through the India office as a senior consultant.

She has an interdisciplinary educational background. A master’s degree (from Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University) in International Political Economy and a master’s degree in English Literature from Delhi University. She also holds a post-graduate diploma in journalism from the reputed Asian College of Journalism.
