UN Energy Action Days: High-Level Dialogue on Energy

UN Secretary-General António Guterres announced that he will convene the UN High-level Dialogue on Energy virtually on Friday, 24 September 2021, under the auspices of the UN General Assembly. Ahead of the Dialogue, Energy Action Days will bring together businesses, cities, foundations, youth and other civil-society representatives to announce their own Energy Compact commitments and mobilize partnerships for transformative action.
The Gender Energy Coalition, where SAWIE is partnering with the co-organizer namely ENERGIA, GWNET, UNIDO, UN Women and the co-hosts, that is the governments of Ecuador (tbc), Iceland, Kenya and Nepal, will be launched officially at the UN High-level Dialogue on Energy during the General Assembly in September 2021.
