Pooja Dahal - South Asia Women in Energy (Sawie)

Pooja Dahal is the Board of Director at Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited, which aims to develop, build and operate hydropower projects in Sankhuwasava district of Koshi Zone, Nepal.

Achieving its goal, AHPC has developed and built 3,000 kW Piluwakhola Small Hydropower Projects as its first Projects. Where she is responsible for Construction of 15.1 MW Middle Modi Hydropower Project in Parbat District and Construction of 200 MW Solar Power Project in Nepal. She is also the Board Member of United Insurance as well as Nepal Hydro and Electric Limited.

Prior to this, she was a Board of Director at Kanchanjunga Housing Limited where she was responsible for Management and Operation of Trade Tower Nepal, a corporate building located at Thapathali, Kathmandu and Renovation, retrofitting, grouting and repairing of the damages caused by devastating earthquake in 2015.

In terms of professional qualification, she has done her Executive MBA in Project Management from Kathmandu University School of Business (KUSoM) and she holds her Bachelor degree in of Civil Engineering, specialization on Hydropower from Nepal Engineering College, Pokhara University Nepal.
