Megha Pushpendra leads Strategic Communications at International Solar Alliance. The International Solar Alliance (ISA) is an alliance of 121 countries initiated by India, most of them being sunshine countries, which lie either completely or partly between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. The primary objective of the alliance is to work for efficient exploitation of solar energy to reduce dependence on fossil fuels.
At ISA, she works with multilateral institutions like the World Bank, IFC, PWC and MNRE among others. Megha has represented ISA in various international forums where she gets to interact with global audiences, stakeholders, industry, academia and beneficiaries at an elevated pitch.
Prior to ISA, Megha has worked with Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Project as a Consultant.
Megha is currently also the Communication Lead for RE-Invest 2020. RE-INVEST 2020, themed ‘Innovations for Sustainable Energy Transition’ aims to accelerate the worldwide effort to scale up development and deployment of renewable energy and connect the global investment community with Indian energy stakeholders.
